For today I had actually planned to paint my mouth and teeth. But there was something in between!

Our friend has a food hatch like an open garage door - and that is empty ...:

There is definitely something missing, namely the tongue!

So I made a tongue of "Fimo" ...

...and put it into his mouth...:

Regarding the color scheme, I took the picture above as a template ...:

For the tomorrow starting workshop at Goslar, I am now ready to paint the teeth and mouth of our hero, but the teeth will not to be white and bare, but rather rather untidy and dirty - like these of a well known german comedian...:

Besides, I want to finish the hair and the beard. Since I still can not decide whether "gray" or "darkblond", I will pick up the suggestion of an friend and paint the white beard of an old man, in which a few blond spots can be seen from earlier times

Since I have found a nice template ...:

Oh, yes, I've just picked up another idea:
The eyeballs of our wodkaloving Cossack are now - see photos above! - adequate bloodshot ...

This is great and has developed into a really interesting albeit a funny Cossack , full of character ..certainly makes me smile every time its seen

......and now you are adding your excellent eye for details as well ...the tongue and also bloodshot eyes as well as what will be teeth that are .....well shall we say in need of visiting the local dentist...to be pulled !!!

Loving this fellow so well done ....certainly looking forward to his companion as well

Happy painting

8. and 9. Day, March 24/25, 2017

Spend two days at a Workshop at Goslar and was very busy!

Teeth painted (very rotten and dirty)

Hair, eyebrows and beard painted (grey with a small rest of blonde).

Shoulder boards painted (2nd Dagestan Cavalry Regiment/"Wild Division").

Tcherkesska painted (only the stomach and the back are only underpainted with Acrylics and have to be finished).

Now my heroe looks like this...:

Very satisfied with the results...!
