Thanx Pedro... The grain shows up much better in person... No matter how I went at it, I couldn't get the right angle for it to show up in the pics .

I was smoking a pipe as I painted the pipe while I copied another pipe that became the pipe I was painting like the pipe but not the pipe I was smoking... Pipe

I got lost amongst all those pipes

damn mate, this figure looks great by the minute ,very nice details and i am sure that pistol with the woodgrain gave you a little bit of headache,looks awesome.
I also like the red tunic,very nice color and contrast between lights and shadows.

No pipe music, had on my grandfather's old records of cossack singers. Fittingly, in one song, it told of a cossack who traded his wife for a new pipe and a bag of tobacco because she was a nag.... Ahh the good old days
