Well Mick , the wife is away to America for 5 weeks and I have gutted the downstairs cloaks and the hall , put in new Rads, ripped out the carpets put new flooring down , ordered 4 new windows which will go in next week ,stripped and repapered and she knows now;t about it 3 weeks before she is back and I might be looking for new lodgings

If my missus was in the US for 5 weeks I'd be doing something more fun than decorating Ron - among other things visual entertainment involving Poles comes to mind...

Ikea is the ultimate torture Paul not only the visit but the mind bending put together instructions , don't ever ever buy a kitchen from them as nowt will fit with everything else, thats where apple got their ideas from

I go away for the weekend to see to my mother and this whole thread goes to the wall. Terrible.

1. Paul you get the idea

2. Ron - quit when you're ahead. Fast food, bench time and doing what you please would be better for you.

3. Agree with Ikea comments and furniture shopping in general. I refuse to go as it gives me a migraine (it really does) but I will go to Ikea if all I have to do is eat meatballs and chips and maybe some of the nice chocolate cake. Opinions about items or even looking at that crap I refuse to do as it's all online anyway.

4. I met two donkeys by the stables where the horse lives the weekend before last and we are friends now.

5. Cardiff city have a chance under the new manager.
