Cpl Reg Rattey VC

A first crack at converting a figure and sculpting new parts. Going under the knife was the OzMods 120mm Dingo Harris figure, to be converted to be Cpl Reg Rattey, who was awarded the VC for his part in the fierce fighting at Slaters Knoll, Bougainville in 1945, while serving with the Australian 25th Militia Battalion. Painted in Acrylics

Beaut figure and tribute, Macca. I hadn't heard of Cpl Rattey, so just searched for and read the VC citation.
He was one incredibly brave digger.
I really like the base with the ACMF hat badge too.

Thanks for the comments guys. Those rising sun badges are getting harder to find. I now trawl all manner of dodgy flea market or swap meet on the off chance someone has some and a lot of the traditional disposal stores where you would find them are closing down.
