Hi Guys ,

Waking up this morning I realise why I love this hobby of ours ...this is the reason......... great sculpts and great subjects .:)

Looking at this and the pictures that were the inspiration it looks a lovely job ......like the well captured boyish features ...and those ears .(y)

Great job by Gra30 for releasing this and for Carl in the sculpting .

Looking forward to seeing more from Messrs S and R.

I will be reviewing this in full a little later so watch out on PF

At the risk of cutting my own throat. This is the MUST BUY bust of the year. I saw this at the Bath show and it is the most stunning piece which just grabs you. Not surprisingly Graham sold out of these at the show and mine is on order and I can't wait to get it and may even find the time to paint it. The subject matter is great, superb sculpting by Carl and Grahams usual top quality casting must be a winning combination
FANTASTIC!..........damn you.

I picked one of these up at Bugle Call and I've got to say it's a really great figure, great casting by Gra and a fantastic character face & figure by Carl Reid, it's very difficult one to say no to!....it's one of those models that as soon as you see it the money comes out of the pocket almost by itself!;)
Cheers

I agree with all the above comments it is an absolute stunner, and as an ex RM Drummer and Drum Major Graham you must be proud of this great product. However I am a little confused by the small satchell worn over the figures right shoulder, (the two straps connected by three buttons). It appears to be the bag for a Phenate Hexamine (PH) respirator. If this is the case why is a RMLI Bugler wearing/carrying one of these in 1914 as they were not developed/issued until 1915? Please correct me if this small bag is something else.
Dennis

Thank you for the kind words, really appreciated and big thanks to Carl.
Thanks for the information Dennis, so really the figure should be dated 1915 onwards or from 1914-1918 war.
It is not a major issue as everything else is correct for the duration of the war and I incorrectly have titled him a year early. Thank you for pointing it out
Kind regards
Graham
