Excellent! :)

Both will be on my shopping list from El Greco.

I love these figures. I agree with Luc, sometimes it seems only Highlanders were in the Crimea. I will definitely get both and think they will go well together as a pair. The officer figure is particularly good.

Did anyone (UK) see Top Gear last night? They were in the Ukraine and went to a point overlooking the valley of the charge of the Light Brigade.

Yes looking forward to adding these 2 to my collection. The Officer figure with the spike helmet will make a good 1848-49 reference when the Russian Army took part in the Hungarian Revolt.

Didn't see Top Gear but will check it out on the BBC iplayer if it's there. I saw this on TV http://www.dw.de/doppelgänger-on-demand/av-17258574 could this be the future; from box art to finished figure.

BTW hope you had a great birthday Darren.

Cheers
Roy

BTW hope you had a great birthday Darren

A bit of a non-event to be honest Roy. A fully packed day at work and then I had to pick up little one from swimming. It meant I left the house at 6.30 am and got home at 9.00 pm.

But, at the ripe old age of 47 I'm not that bothered about Birthdays ;)

I did get a very nice book from my Brother about The Somme though :)

With the Crimean War being so popular among manufacturers at the moment, it's nice to see a figure from the "other side." They look like two very nice releases.
