I received this figure a couple of weeks ago when I got the Anniversary figure and was anxious to start on him. The figure comes cast in all resin, packed in a cardboard box with plenty of Styrofoam chips to insure it arrives safely, as it did. The kit is comprised of 9 parts. The main part being the torso / legs / head. A small cast feather fits atop the hat which is cast separately and attached later

There are small mold blocks on each arm and seem quite easy enough to remove. There are some light seam lines on the inside legs. The seam lines on the outside of the figure are even less and will require just a little sanding to smooth out.

The rifle stock has been adorned with brass studs which was quite common in that period of time.

I highly recommend this figure for those who enjoy the American West.

You welcome Terry..........yes....it was produced by Resin8 and the Master was bought by Dreamcatcher, who in turn sold out to The Lost Battalion. Darla is re-releasing this now under her name since she owns the master.

Hello Guy,

This is looking very promising. I really like the crispy details that are made into the figure.
I think you gonna like the painting of the figure.
So, keep us informed

Marc

Thanks Marc,
I'll be starting this figure in the next couple of days and have him posted in my vbench soon.

Guy, An interesting subject that looks very cleanly cast. The inspiration for the figure no doubt had to come from a figure study by western artist James Bama.~Gary
