dimitrios,
I think you've done a real stand up job on this guy! Fantastic highlights and shadows. This is a really nice piece as well, who makes it? Great work!

Chris,Jay thanks for the comments.Jay the figure is from Pegaso models sculpted by Gianni La Roca.

I love that red tunika!! Red is so difficult to shade and highlight, yours looks superb, as the whole figure is! Outstanding paintjob, better than much we can see in some catalogues!

Guy,Rafael,Costas,Frank,Marc thank for the comments.I wanted to post some final pics of the figure but i just got ahold of a long waited figure(YOUNG ROMAN OFFICER) and as you can imagine it consumed all of my time and attention. Will post progress of that as well in time!

Jon,Mike,John thank you for commenting.Angus as far as the weathering goes,I mixed the earth color with my highest higjlights of red and then apllied in a consistency almost trasparent working my way for the top to the bottom where most of the dust is concentrated. After many applications and waiting time(since i work with oils) I ended up painting with the earth color alone at the edge of the tunic. The cape was much more easier to weather since every light color seems to dust black.Just keep the paint dilluted enough to be transparent.
