Hello my friends and happy new year to all of you and your families,
this is my new project on the bench right now, a bust this time, my first real try on this kind of scale.
I will represent a Confederate veteran soldier from the American civil war, the scale is 1/12 (I think that it is the 150mm, I am not sure).
A very demanding scale and a real challenge for me, but I really enjoy it because I have big space to work and give the necessary details.
Greetings,
Christos.

Happy New Year & keep safe

Ray ;)

Thank you very much for the comments,
Carl the problem was actually in his left ear, it was indeed a bit too back than right was so I cut it and place it in the right position.
Here are some more pics of the progress. (y)

Hi Christos,

Great work and looks a lot better than my attempt at the same subject last year. I can't wait to see some paint on him.

Re: CSA Soldier, oh Ma' Gosh. . . .

Hello Christos:

Oh gee, it must be such a sense of satisfaction, to have that kind of talent.

I am so impressed with what you're doing with this figure. Yes, I agree that
Carl Barton's comments re the ear position is on the mark, . . . and you've
taken care of that.

I think one of the reasons why this bust is so appealing, re the ACW, is the
hat. . . and how you've bent the brim in such an interesting and appealing
way.

Haa haa. Obviously, you are a true artist, my friend. Your eye tells you just
how to capture the essence of what the "Civil War Character" should
look like.

I stand in awe of people like you who can create a sculpted piece from
scratch. . .

Regards, The Miami Jayhawk

Christos this is an excellent work .A bust with a character and appeal .It makes you to want to get one and paint it .I hope that it will go commercial .
