It's an absolute classic Janne thought it had been lost

Still looking for old series called "Borderers" about reivers in 17th Century - anyone remember that one?

Mike

The Battle of Cullodden series that you are talking about was originally shown by the BBC in its entirety around that time (1964) It was released as a complete film, so maybe worth searching film sites for the full version?
Hope this helps,
Steve(y)

Great stuff Janne thanks for posting.

Not only do I remember it Mike...Iwas in it.
My aunt was one of the production team and got me and a couple of mates from the school rugby team parts as snot faced, scabby kneed background dressing. Some of the filming took place at Mugdock Castle just outside Glasgow......it seems like a v e r y long time ago.
Cheers

Well found Janne, lot of good hours of watching to be done.
I could of course just ask Del about it, he was there.........

He didnt tell you he just went over to complain about the noise!

Get outta here Derek & I thought I was old. remember the castle well & the gallows that were part of every show. Would love to see what this was like again, but alas seems its lost in the ether now

You mean you where 14-15 at the time for the actual battle? :sneaky:

Do you show up in the movie?

:ROFLMAO: Nice one Janne. It was the Borderers I was in. We were in some 'panning' background shots, really just filling space.
Although one of my mates took a fancy to acting, joined a drama group and got a part in an episode of Dr Finlays Casebook where he had to eat a worm ..... that was the highlight of his acting career. The other 2 of us got out of the business at the height of our powers when the viewing public still loved us :D

Strange, I thought I saw you in a movie recently, with lines and all?

Not eating a worm though, but trying to eat something a bit more tasty? :angelic:
But my eyes is getting weary.

Im glad you liked my find as many others seems to have.

Cheers
