Finally after long painting on this I finished him. The sculpting from Carl Reid is amazing. Alot of character on the face.
Totally painted with oils.
One complene: He didn't fit in my showcase cabinet.

A nice piece of sculpting from Carl and no doubt the casting as good from Gra at CGS

Certainly looks a heck of a lot of work must have took a lot of planning as well

really like the cuirass and the work on the flag particularly the highlights

....a bigger display cabinet perhaps ?

Very well done. I especially like the look of the cutlass. What paints did you use?
 
Thanks alot for the compliments.

The colors I used for the Cuirass are the follow: Base a mix with gold and burnt sienna. Shadows with burn umber. Highlights with pure gold. All Windsor and Newton.
