I've put these photos here as the project is kind of finished, originally my intention was to make a diorama, the figure, vehicle and a vulture perched in a dead tree in a desert environment but I'm restricted by shelf space and all in all it would have been far too big.
As I said, the figure is one of Steve's nice products as are all of the items stowed in the rear of the kettenkrad (Italeri)
All of the stuff that I have got from Reedees Miniatures has been great, speedy delivery, nice packaging, minimal flash and great parts fit too.

To be honest, I'm more of a vehicle modeller, figure painting is something I need to work on more.
Maybe one day I will manage to put it all together and then I can really say it's finished.

Thanks Steve for supplying with such nice castings to work on.
All the best,
David

Superb work on the Krad, the rubber of the tyres and track pads is outstanding. I'm not sure the Sergeant major would approve of a loaded weapon being carried like that though... (the MP40 that is):).

Hi David

Nice to see another from you , the detailing on the vehicle is excellent , like the weathering on both prices .liking the helmet

Look forward to seeing more from your bench

Thanks for sharing

I know there's not a figure in sight, I'm sorry, just thought I would show you a little more detail of the kettenkrad.IMG_1220.JPG IMG_1228.JPG IMG_1247.JPG

Very nice work, I'm awaiting a 1/9 Kettenkrad which I've bought pre built on ebay at a great price, sadly from a deceased estate..
Im thinking a new paint job, additional weathering and the Jeff SHIU figures..
See what happens when it arrives.. Your ideas have been useful.. Looking forward to seeing the diorama..

Woz.

How are you guys with Sci-Fi?
I have some photos of a diorama featuring a Star Wars Stormtrooper that I made some years ago, want to take a look?

Nou look here. You're supposed to show pictures of your model, not the real vehicle..

Love what you have done with the kettenkrad, would love to get mine to this standard when I paint it but I doubt I could, captured the DAK look very nicely with vehicle, stowage and figure.
Cheers
Steve

Thanks Steve, to me, adding the details is key to adding realism, judging by how you approach your work, I'm sure you would agree
