Yep mate a kiwi is the only surviving pilot from Dambusters squadron & was over at the event.
Word is Pete Jackson is still planning to do the movie remake after Hobbits sort out that dragon!

The other surviviving airworthy Lanc flies out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I had the pleasure of attending a model/figure show in Hamilton and setting up my figures in the main hanger amid the vintage aircraft including the Lanc, Spit and Hurricane.

Spent last evening watching the Dambusters on a big screen at a local museum.Behind the screen was Museums Lancaster.
Was very cool.

Learned a few things as well,from a local historian.
