I have managed to tweak the figure some more and primered him up in Tamiyas Extra Fine grey surface primer,His head was primered in a 50/50 mix of Humbrol flat flesh and white mixed with 5o percent cellulose thinner...this really bites on to the resin. I dont ever prime 35th scale and smaller heads due to the fine detail,the basecoat I use above acts as a primer and coloured base coat in one.

Next up the oils !

Hola !

I have been working away on this,and managed to get some paint on to the Hetzer,Im just at the stage of adding dry mud and paint effects,rust,white wash staining etc...still lots to do though

The work to the Hetzer is nearly complete,just need to add some damp mud and grass and some snow I think... work on the figure is going slow but once I have a bit to show will post some images.

Lovely weathering and fantastic groundwork, it looks a real sticky mess!!

Well done Carl, you have done a great job of bringing this to life and I am sure it will look even better with the figure standing next to iy.
