HI Guys

I thought I would post some a screen shot of a project Mat Makin and I have been working on. The figure is a union soldier from the American Civil War (mid to late war). This has been a side project for Dark World Creations as it is a historical piece and could not have been finished without advice from David at Dell’s leather works and Richard Straight. This figure is in the process of being printed and may be produced. There will be some photo-etched parts if this piece does go into production.

Hope you like

I like this, it would be a nice figure to paint with the blue uniform of the north, however I think his right hand looks a bit lost, could do with something to do.

Static pose but nonetheless very nice. Chuck some paint at it and it'll look great I'm sure. It could tempt me if released.

Very nice indeed, the face oozes character. I think this will paint up well.
Janne, I 'm not sure if his eyes are closed, that was my first thought, but I think it may be an optical illusion.
If not I'd better go to Specsavers.

Looks good. However, the cap pouch/ box looks very narrow and the bayonet socket is way too small. The sling for the cartridge box should be under the waist belt ( not over it ) to prevent it from flopping around. The rifle looks to be the correct size, but lacks a ramrod and the lock of the rifle is on the wrong side of the rifle. The trigger guard also does not reflect the shape of those seen on a Springfield rifle.
