Great Jaume. I have this figure and am looking to start it soon, will be interesting to see how they both turn out. Im hoping to do some of my distressed leather on the jerkin he is wearing.
Superb work (y)

Hi everyone, Im in Malta at the moment sampling some of the Maltese beer and trying not to spill it onto the keyboard. Can't wait to get back to my paints though!!!!!

Hi
I've finished the face.
Hardy: Can't wait to see your version. In my opinion, this face is perfect for your way of painting.
May be I'll borrow your idea for the jerkin and try to transplant your technic to acrylics. :)

Thanks for the nice comments

Jaume,

As soon as my faces look that good, I quit my day job! And that's done with acrylics? Pretty amazing.

Very nice my friend! Love the leather work. I assume its acrylics, but has a Hardy Tempest oil quality to it! Any insight to how you did it?

Also, the scenery is great too! Your friend is very talented.

Thanks mates!
Rob.Leather was painted pointing(?) with some shades of dark leather, glossy black and Orange yellow until I get a sort of blending. It took me a lot of time,by the way,but results are not bad at all.Changing the base colour and the ammount of black gives you different leather colours.
Yes I was inspired by Hardy's work
Cheers
