Hi Everyone;
I picked this bust up from the vendor's table at SCAHMS this year, and was sure glad I did. With almost flawless resin casting, and a great sculpting job, this was a pleasure to paint. I need to get a nice base for it yet, but I like the fact that this bust comes with a nice nameplate included, so I can save some cash on engraving. Anyway, I welcome your criticisms and comments.

Cheers everyone;

Thanks very much guys. Matt, I snapped up the only copy, as I was hovering around the Red Lancers table like a vulture. I couldn't pass up a chance to pick up a few figures free from the all seeing eye of Canadian customs and the tax man, now could I? ;)

Glen,
nice work! I have this piece primed and base coated as we speak. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this is the cleanest sculpt and casting I have ever seen! I agree completely with you on that one! Great job on this one, your flesh tones are spot-on here as well!

HI John;

in response to your question, no...I never use an airbrush, except on rare occassions when I want to do a white undercoat. This was undercoated with Valejo acrylic dark grey, then painted with combinations of Windsor and Newton oils and Humbrol enamels, all with a brush of course. :)
