Dan,

Mr decal paper on Amazon is your first step
5xA4 sheets for about a fiver and straight off your own printer.
then spray varnish to seal.
the graphic side isn't too difficult on photoshop.

I have made my own decals in the past for vehicle conversions, you can do it yourself with special decal paper and an ink jet printer, it's
not hard to do but some colours do not show up very well. There is a firm that will do them trouble is I have lost the name of them,
if you wanted to do them yourself it is best to use an ALPS printer but when I was doing my own they were not cheap and now I
don't know if they are still readily available, hope this helps a little bit, if you want to know more just pm. me and Iwill try and help further.

Charlie Duckworth has a German pipe with one of the painted on scenes and I could scan or photograph that to start. Personally I have no interest in doing it commercially - just as an added item for the Landwehr figure. I could probably get the image and Photoshop it to the required size which would be small - maybe 3mm square? I've done similar things with road signs and maps and so forth printing them on paper only in the past. If the original image is good enough it works OK. The only printer I have is a HP Officejet 6700 and I'm not sure it would be up to handling what you and Chris are suggesting. Kinda doubt it. I'm pretty sure I won't be painting the Landwehr myself since I'm a crap painter - just trying to learn again.

I will happily take all the help I can get since I've never made decals.

All the best,
Dan
