Excellent start David. I'm looking forward very much to your treatment of this beauty!

By the way, could you elaborate a bit on how you achieved the metal finish? That would be a great help...! Thanks.

Cheers,
Adrian

Thanks Gunther,Adrian,Gordy and Luca for your appreciation.Adrian the metals where painted with Games Workshop metallic paints.Starting with Tin Bitz followed by varying shades of Shining Gold,Brazen Brass and Burnished Gold after this I applied washes with Chestnut ink and Dark green ink, final highlights are gold printers ink.

Cheers David

Great work Dave, looking forward to seeing the finished article, dont worry mate about the airbrushing i'm sure you'll handle it ok,i was nervous about using mine a couple of years back but they're great and the finish is so smooth, horses are ideal for practising with larger areas to work on than figures paticulary for the musle tones which are prominent on horses.
Dave Andrea press have a good book about painting horses which i found an interesting read, anyway good luck mate.

Saw this in the cold painted metal last week, the photographs do it no justice.
Airbrush?????.........a tool of satan, think of the children THINK OF THE CHILDREN
Cheers

Tommi I have been watching this figure progress over the weeks and it is super.
With a bit of luck the general public will be able to see the completed figure within a week or two.
