Seeing Demchenko's excellent German POW piece, got me thinking...

The expression on the prisoner's face in the attached photo is all wrong for "Defeat". But if you changed the expression to one of dejection and misery - wouldn't this make a fine single figure pose? Just standing there looking hopeless, leaning on the strands of the barbed wire fence and maybe one hand on the fence itself - nothing else. Not even any poles - the barbed wire would hang from the places where it touches the figure's clothing and one hand.
