I'm pleased to show the finished vignette "Defending the gates, Hougoumont, Waterloo 1815".
In the past threads I let you see how to prepare, how to built, how to paint this great vignette. It takes a lot of time, but the result is great (I think).

Ben, superb painting and quite a diorama and in 120mm too. Great detail and Mobo has done you proud with the scenery.
Where ever you look you see something different. A very well done from me and the next problem, where to display this one owing to the size.

I display the vignette in a display cube. No space enough in my display cabinet. The measurements are 30cm x 30 cm x 30 cm. 5 months of work.
