Hello,

I'm pleased to show the finished vignette "Defending the gates, Hougoumont, Waterloo 1815".
In the past threads I let you see how to prepare, how to built, how to paint this great vignette. It takes a lot of time, but the result is great (I think).
Thanks Carl to sculpt these nice figures.
Thanks Gordon to produce the kits.

Many thanks to my friend Mobo for modelling the wall, the gate and the cobblestone groundwork!

Ben, superb painting and quite a diorama and in 120mm too. Great detail and Mobo has done you proud with the scenery.
Where ever you look you see something different. A very well done from me and the next problem, where to display this one owing to the size.

Multi-person dioramas are extremely time consuming and notoriously difficult to get right but you seem to have handled yourself remarkably well with this one.I cannot but admire and respect your courage and skills.

Oda.

Great scene, a wonderfull sculpture and very fine details, warm congrats for your effort, well deserved result!
Cheers,
Nicolae
