Hi Joe, you've done a great job and I can't see anything that needs fixing, but if you wanted to do a little extra, you could try dirtying up the lower part of the outside wall plaster?
Best wishes, Gary.

Hey Gary, glad that it meets with your approval :)! Actually I plan to splatter some mud on that side. I did fling a bit of burnt umber on there, but the spots came out very small and barely visible, especially when photographed with a cell phone. You're right, that wall looks too clean cut! Thanks for bringing it up, its a good reminder !

Superb work. Amazing painting ! Bravo !!!!!!!
Superb figure also !
But small defect, visible to every good soldier, especially Sniper
A non-camouflaged weapons that exceeds a window.
A high risk of being detected by another sniper!
Howdy Luc! Thank you for your words of praise!

You're absolutely right about the sniper position. He got complacent and needs to review his TTPs!

Before I started painting the thought did enter my mind to camouflage the window a bit. I even thought of placing beams and other roofing debris leaning on the outside of that wall. However, that would require a larger base, and my cabinet is getting crowded. So I said the heck with it!
Again Luc, thanks for checking in and commenting (y)!

You welcome, I could make the sniper course my officer school.
But the officers are rarely sniper, even with the qualification, however, having learned, I have some remembrance.
But to return to the figure, it is against a beautiful photo of propaganda type.

Thanks for posting these Luc (y)! Other than the guy using the turret for a rest, I don't recall ever seeing any of those pictures.

Beautiful display, Joe! (y)
I would love to paint white like you do! The weathering is awesome!
Cheers,
Zeno :)
Thanks Zeno (y) ! I used the Andrea White set.

Check out Baily's work in the "Post your own article and SBS" forum. Click on the one titled "Help with White". He has it down to a science :D!
