Thanks also to the contribution of my friend Fabrizio , I managed to put the brushes on this little jewel of history appear . I must say that the fusion was a little inaccurate in places, but the charm of the piece is unchanged , and is difficult to reach by other pieces made in more recent times . I wanted to slightly vary the compounds clothes , just not to make them too uniform . I then thought of setting the piece in Libya , in a village just busy, going to build a stone wall with plaster using a plaster casting gap that had.

Nice to see a golden oldie.
You've painted him beautifully, and the groundwork really sets the scene.

Cheers,
Andrew

Wonderfully rendered version of this Hornet classic. Well done!

Still trying to track down one of these little fellows for a conversion I'd like to do on it.
Anyone got one to spare?

Very very nice and sharp painting! Great job.

What do you mean with 'the fusion is a little inaccurate in places'?

Cheers,
Adrian

there was some excess melting in places, such as under the helmet in the right side of the face and the edge of the helmet that was poorly defined with some missing pieces that I had to rebuild everything ..... however easily remedied with a little patience .

Oh I see. Since this is a one piece casring I supposed you weren't talking about the fit of parts.
Sorry to hear about your extra work, but the figure is worth it!

Cheers,
Adrian

Wow, this little dude was released years ago! Great to see him brought out to the forefront again.

Beautiful brushwork on this desert campaigner (y)! Like that little rock wall too.
