Now the snotty cold and cough is out of the way , I can get some painting in. Here is the state of play at the moment.
Face painted in oils.
The detail on the uniform is fantastic. The undercoated figure show more of the detail.

Hi Bob.
Primed up he looks even better-what a cracking figure.
You've made a great start too.
Jon

I have had a few days off for family commitments Bob.
But back to it tonight and most of tomorrow.
This is a tasty piece.

Paul.

This looks a nice figure .
as he is an officer you can get away with a couple of variants re belts etc as they tended to get their uniforms made by a personal tailor or at least the add on bits .

Thank you Ron, I am going to play safe with this one. Hope to get more brush time today.
I can't say enough about the detail on this figure, superb.
All the best.

It does look nice , my only gripe with these 75 mm figures is the way the sword slings are handled IE just a bit of lead foil, they could and should be cast at this price and scale .
I have been tempted with there 90 mm hussar but if they take the same short cut then its a no no .
Look forward to your paint job on this .

Just have to double or treble up on the lead foil mate, that's what I do (y)
