Hi all,
It's almost 6 months since I started painting my first figure. I have about 8 figures completed so far and I was wondering how and if you display your completed pieces, mine are just siting in a box at the moment but I would like to do something with the better painted ones. So far I have thought of those little Perspex boxes and display cabinets, So I'm asking for ideas or photos of how you display your favorites. I thought it might be interesting to see how others have their collections displayed.

Cheers,
Andrew.

mine are displayed in a Ikea display cabinet. 72888_PE189139_S4.jpg
Looks something like this. Only not so deep (10 cm) and for wall mount. More then 10 trays off glass in it.
Its a silvery color.
But you get the idea.

I use an old glass fronted display cabinet I got from freecycle ... Mounted two mini strip lights from Willco's about £18 for both of them ( the type for under kitchen cabinets :) )

Clagged mirror tiles onto the back ...

It's on a shelf and is fastened to the wall ....

Have a look at IKEA " Billy Bookcase " line , Glass doors, natural birch or painted in a couple of colours and very good value

Here's another way to display some of your individual figures on any shelf.
These glass domes used to be easily available in model shops in my area but I haven't seen individual figure domes for a while but someone must still be making them.
Being the bargin hunter I am I have found some cheap glass tumblers with thin bases which do the same job. They're good if you don't want to put all your figures in the one place.

As a late addition to this thread I'd just like to say if anyone's interested I've just found these glass cloches on evilbay.
They're great quality, well priced and completely airtight.
If you're after individual figure display cases you won't get better.
Give me a PM for the seller details.

Hi Andrew, I have three of these Ikea Detolf display cases side by side to display my figures and a few other items. They are all glass so let in the light and have ultimate viewing capabilities, and can have a light mounted easily if desired. Not the cheapest around, but very versatile and great for the price.
