WIP Dolman 1/10th 17th Lancer Officer, 1900

First, I would like to thank Matt at ElGreco for some excellent service, I ordered the Dolman bust yesterday morning and it arrived at 0830 this morning.



Now for the bust, and no it's not finished.

Lovely smooth finish with just a bit of cleaning up the flash and the pouring points, so a couple of hours tops, but that will be tomorrow as out today as the sun is out.

Progress on the head,

Face painted in Artist's oils, base colours applied to the colonial pattern helmet, I will add the spike when I'm nearer the end.

Cheers Geoff, yes once a week, more if the weather is better but the evenings are dark and wet at the mo, so more time for painting.
