Thanks for sharing this , yellow is difficult to paint , nicely done as is the lacework and flesh

You left the drum plain then?

Thanks for the compliment. I never realized how difficult yellow was to work with... until now. The jacket has 5 coats of paint, the drum, 7. I tried applying the royal cypher to the drum several times and just couldn't get it right so I figured the drum would look better plain than with a sloppy, amateurish GR. I'm going to continue playing around with it and if I ever get it right will come back and add it to the drum.
