I have yet to start my hussar & drummer. Lots of clean up to do I found. Your work is inspiring me!

Excellent progress Mike. Good to see your take on the drummer and daughter. You're not wrong about the small areas lol.
Matt is right, your work is inspirational, I'm having a close look at some of your techniques.

Super start Mike. Love the effects on the little girls bonnet and the vivid red of the czapka. Really like these Richard Bailey sculpts.

Many thanks Henk....I've bought a couple of Scale 75 inks to try ....it's early days but I'm quite impressed...they are quite thin and can be thinned further with water.....(y). cheers Mike

very nice start Mike. Which regiment do you painting?

Hi Ben thanks for looking ..as you can see from the pics I changed the original number 1 for the 5th regiment and from information received I hope the uniform colours are ok...(y) if not then at my age it's to late to change. lol. ;). Cheers Mike

Great minds lol... I'm working with Game Colour inks and an old Citadel (octagonal pot ....) Black Ink . Like you, experimenting with different thinning mediums.

Hi Mike, this is looking very good, excellent flesh tones and I like the uniform colouring, spot on. Stunning work.

Hi Mike

Catching up a but here , now it's coming together , nice idea to change the Regt , the contrast between the child and father ( perhaps ) works well

Thanks for updates

Happy benchtime
