Hello Folks

Available soon is this 120mm scale vignette from my range of Waterloo based figures. Sculpted by Carl Reid, it depicts two heavy cavalry troopers of the Life Guards and 4th Cuirassiers engaged in combat during the battle.

This two figure set will not be available on any website and if anyone wishes to pre -order then please contact me on [email protected]

I will have a few sets available at the Leganes show next weekend after which I will be casting to order.

Price is £150.00 which includes international shipping.
They are also available individually at £75.00 each

Brass rods are placed in the horse legs as well as the branch for additional support.

I have a few more Waterloo based projects for the future and will post as they become available.

Cheers
Gordon

Superb animation from an outstanding sculptor, but didn't the British and Prussians win the battle?

Mike

Only 36% of Wellington’s army were British. The rest of the Allied army were German, Dutch, Flemings and Walloons. In fact, 45% of his troops spoke German. I’m not knocking the contribution that the steadiness of British troops made – far from it – but think we, as a nation, tend to try and take too much credit for battle honours. Had it not been for the arrival of the Prussians the outcome of Waterloo would have been very different.

Never mind. As Mike says, this is outstanding work which any collector would be proud to own.

Another nice piece. Will you have any at Sword & Lance? You mention future Waterloo projects. Don't know what they are but would be nice to see some Prussians and maybe Wellington with his staff.

Richard
Not sure if any will be available at Sword and Lance as I will be dealing with pre orders first. If you want one for collection at Sword & Lance just let me know.
No plans for any Prussians or Wellington but they would make a great project.
Cheers

Wellington commanded an Allied army. Many of his Peninsular veterans were in N.America. He would not have stood had not Blucher honoured their agreement that the commanders would support each other. That Blucher kept his word prevented the Allied forces from being split and led to Napoleon's defeat.

A great vignette from a master.

Mike
