Ok, I made the word up but it fits with this project, which is to build a series of six small vignettes, each with only 3 figures, which will depict different aspects of the 'dunkirk story. The plan is for the 6 to be:

rearguard
in the dunes
boarding a "little ship"
disembarking in Dover
aboard a train inland
aftermath - two british pow's and a German guarding them.

I have started work on the first two, here are a couple of in=progress photos of the bases:

A long way to go an this will be a long-term project, no rush.

Hi guys

thanks for the kind words. It's nice to make a number of models which are all different, and have different challenges, but on on a theme.
the next one will be getting aboard a 'small ship', the resin should be a challenge. does anybody ha e any tips?

Looking forward to that. I take it that the soldier(s) will have waded/swam to the Little Ship, and are climbing/helped on board, so more of a setting in the surf, rather than deep water?

I would consider cutting the boat hull and figures in the water down, and only model a thin layer of water.

Hi Peter

Really good to see what you've been working on

They both look great , my favourite is The Return .....did you use part of your 3 figure release

Looking forward to seeing the others
