Melanie,
It was good to meet you two weeks back, at the Faversham MMG Show, when you were looking at my figures on the Group's 'annex' stand over in the corner. You looked at the Dutch Lancer figure I had acquired from fellow member Peter Robinson.....and then showed me your superb version of the same figure on your 'phone!! Both are great, but it was good to see two different versions of style and colours for the same figure. Like Simon [Briggsy] says, it would be good to see it 'in the flesh'....maybe one day. Thanks for your encouragement on various aspects of my figures. When I first went to FMMG a few years back it was Malc C. that 'took me under his wing' and pointed me in the right direction regarding figures, approach, paints and techniques. Now I have started and found you here and this great website....maybe I'll post one of my figures too, if I can summon up the courage.
I will look forward to seeing more of your figures, which are so inspiring.

Kim, it was a pleasure to meet with you at Faversham, we had a very interesting conversation and it was good to see your work. MalcC is indeed an excellent mentor, as are many of your fellow planeteers on this forum.
I understand it is terrifying when one first posts a picture of ones work on the forum but after seeing your work I believe you have nothing to fear, unless you are frightened of praise!
Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon, I think Gravesham is the next show, and I'll be sure to bring the Dutchman along.
