Ian

Hi Ian,
Your a lucky man to have this sculpted for you by Phil. I love your paint job, I think these slightly larger busts are your forte. I love the helmet with all the detail painting. Best of luck at QMHE, I wish I was there.
Ben

Ben thank you for you comment - from you that is a total honour I just had to do it but could not start until after last tuesday as I had to show it raw to the guys (also The Tour had finally finished
Thanks Jamie need 2 little bits of work -top highlight on hair and the base sculpted to figure but Phil has seen photos as he has stated now he wants to se in person hehe (y):)

Great job of bringing the 'fellow' to life, Ian. Very nice photos as well. Wow,
it just seems that Phil gets better and better as time passes by. There is so
much about this bust that is exciting, to me. The rendering of the braids
coming out of the helmet, the hair and the beard all look so natural. And the
eye catching detail in the helmet and the armor, are all so well done, but
do not detract from the head. I'm guessing that takes a good eye on Phil's
part to get the balance just right between the dignity and integrity of the
head balances with all the detailed eye candy.

And I save the 'weapon' for last. Holy cow what a super looking piece of
weaponry with that head on the hilt of it. Just super collaberation (sp)
between two good mates from downunder. Thanks for sharing these images,
my friend,

The Miami Jayhawk Durn burn it. . . I almost missed this thread.

I don't think I will put him in .I will put him on the club table with the others but It is Phils work that makes it "WWOW":notworthy:
