Roger,you know the rhyme on coral snakes:red next to yellow...will kill a fellow.This new figgie of yours is definitely a killer.Very novel to depart from the well establishes ubiquitous "red" for streltsi and you have certainly worked wonders with the yellows,a notoriously difficult colour to work with.This is a wondeful figurine.I hope you put it up for figure of the month on February.

Thank you very much. I'm expecting to receive the phone call from work today to go back on Friday so I doubt this will make it for February FOTM but I'd like to think it will be ok for March's.

It's back to aircraft for four weeks.

Last night this was close to getting stripped back and started again. The yellow of the kaftan looked muddy and horrible and I just wasn't happy with it. This morning I made an attempt to save it without going down the path of starting again.
Clearly it needs more work but I think I've saved myself from the stripper route.
