I've got a couple of theirs in the stash (never painted one) but until now I've never really taken that much notice of them.

But I was looking through their range this morning and you know what Dear Reader? There are some proper little gems among them, and some unusual subjects too.

And as for the prices, well you can't complain at 12 Euros for a 65 mm can you?!

Thoughts?

I have always regretted not picking up their 54mm Romans years ago when readily available, not so keen on their later releases that seemed to go down the pornographic route for some strange reason.

Yeah I'm not bothered about those either. But some of the Romans, Spanish Civil War, Napoleonic and other historical stuff are lovely.

Yep - when I re-started this caper a couple of years ago, EVD was my go-to. Their stuff is well sculpted and ideally priced for someone trying to get his "skills" back. I have quite a few in the cabinet, some early ones I wouldn't boast about, recent ones I'm pleased with. I'd recommend them. Here's a real EVD "oldie" painted in the '90s

Steve,
There figures are very nice for the price. I recently finished their 65mm Roman Triarius and Wife and enjoyed them so much that I have ordered more of their figures.

They do make some nice figures Steve.(y)
They are pretty big compared to the usual 54's as you say. Nice detail on the couple I've had although the face sculpting was a little 'flat'. There were a few that I wished I'd bought when I got the chance. . .
