Got this from Robert a week or so ago with the intention of doing some surgery to convert him into a Covenanter pikeman.
Liked the look and attitude of the figure so much that with a change of headwear and a few other minor tweaks I'm keeping him as a fifer. Going to use a bit of licence and assume that there were Covenanter fifers at the Battle of Bothwell Bridge.
Classic Mike Blank style. It's all credit to Elan13 that they have developed a theme, in this case ECW and run with it..kudos.

A fabulous sculpt by Mr. B and a very unusual subject too. Plenty of drummers, buglers/trumpeters and ensigns about, a few pipers as well, but off the top of my head I can't think of any other fifers.

Will definitely pick one up at some point.
