finished this excellent figure from Pegaso. It's a 75 mm and depict Emmanuel de Grouchy one of Napoleons Marshalls. As always painted with oilpaint. I tried another background.
The lace's where nervous break down.

How do you get your oils to a matt finish?

Thanks to all guys, to make the time to comment.
How do I matt my oils. I never use paint straight out of the tube. I always let the oil soaked out on a indexcard.
Then with a little white spirit I paint.

Thanks Bob. Yes, I used the background from Spain (thanks for the link). I ordered set one and two and only get set two.
Picture is almost without Photoshop. Just a small autocontrast.
