No need to ask permission, steal away. My palette has been decided after looking at information and ideas from many sources, including this forum, so it's not something I invented - just ideas that were stolen (I prefer the word "borrowed") from various sources that are far more knowledgable than I am

A bit more progress, mainly on the base:



I'm fairly happy with the way the base is progressing, comments and critique are most welcome

A bit more work on the base. I'm happy with the base now, other than adding a title plate, a few leaves and touching up some areas where the masking tape has taken some of the paint off. I also added the dragon's wings but there's still a lot of work to be done on the dragon. I also have some long bendy ribbons to add to her turban which will be secured via the tiniest spot of glue and then need to be painted....I can't foresee anything going wrong with that

Agreed, looking very good. I don't think you will have any problems with the Spanish flat Billy.

I made a bit of a cock-up when I ordered the name plate so it arrived in portrait format rather than landscape. My fault of course, the service from Name-It was first class, as always. However, all is not lost as the portrait format is kinda growing on me. Let me know what you think

I also attached one of the ribbons to her turban but I felt that, for the effort involved (it was really fiddly, a PITA in fact), they didn't really add that much to the figure and IMHO looked a bit naff. So off it came and I filled both attachment points with MS. Just waiting on that curing then I'll touch it up later.
