Hi. Here's my Scots Guards bust. Painted with AV acrylics. No idea what the mixes are as I just mix until Im happy. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this and is one of the first busts/models that's held my attention long enough ( and not frustrated me) to complete.

Hi, I am new to modelling and thought that I would enter my completed Coldstream Guards defending Hougoumont by MitchesMilitaryModels into the Standard class competition for March.

The model is 75mm and I used Vallejo acrylic paints. I hope you like my first effort, it was great fun to paint. Some of the wall I used little bits of real brick that I collected from Hougoumont when I visited Waterloo in 2005, I then tried to blend the model wall with the real brick.

Entry for FOTM - "The Wounding of Jackson, Chancellorsville, May 2, 1862" Conversion of a 75mm FeR figure. Tree is from Hudson & Allen. Painted with oils over Vallejo acrylics. Modified torso, arms, head and facial sculpt of figure. Repositioned stance of horse and used theatrical crepe hair for horse's tail and mane.
