After the success of our first Vignette & Diorama comp its a pleasure to be able to announce we will be running the 3rd till Midnight 31/01/2022

THIS THREAD IS FOR ENTRIES ONLY

No limit on number of pictures or size ( full or thumbnail )

The aim is to promote this type of modelling

Subjects can be:

1. Any scale

2. Any subject

3. Any period

4. Any modelling genre

5. Joint entry's are fine as well as individual

6.Minimum of 2 figures , foot or mounted or with a piece of equipment ( for example 1 person and a dog is acceptable , a AFV with crew etc )

7. No Maximum no of figures in the entry

8. Choice of base size is entirely up to the entrant

9. Entries can be previously completed models you've done ......with this thread time frame giving you plenty of time to get modelling something new as well

and don't forget to support FOTM as well

This is a collaboration piece between myself and Del...in memory of Mark Pearson (aka 'Tubby Nuts).

Scale is around 100 mm...using two of the Dwarf Tombraider pieces from member 'Prickett' (Mikhail)...with the base entirely from scratch...and the background using my PC monitor.......

Calm Before The Storm

Alpine Miniatures 1/16th Scale #16021 German U-Boat Captain, Alpine Miniatures 1/16th Scale #16036 German U-Boat Watch Officer, German U-boat Type VIIB Conning Tower Gun Deck and Dual Gun from Shapeways, designed by Sasa Drobac.

Figures painted in oils over an acrylic base. Railing, cables, flag pole, and deck bench were scratch built. The water effect was created using blue construction foam with several layers of Vallejo's Water Effects and acrylic paint.
