Hi all..this my second thread in planetfigure..

just try my first sculpting a likeness in sculpey

still working in his hand, body and face..it still WIP anyway, if any of you have suggetion and comment please let me know..thank you

Looks like him. One thing I would suggest and that I have found very helpful is to use sculpey dilutant and a paint brush to soften the edges left by the sculpting tools. His arms look a wee but thin to me as well and you can use the dilutant and brush to add material and to smooth/feather it onto the sculpt, even after baking. I think it would help with smoothing the upper torso as well.

Just a suggestion in case you haven't tried that method.

Clay shapers are good for smoothing as well :

If you can't find the sculpey dilutant, I think you can use mineral oil or vegetable oil. Test it on a piece of excess sculpey first.
