I would like to get hold of a copy of this book, having long been an admirer of Eugene Leliepvre, and I can't fathom how I've not got a copy myself. It was published in 2007, I believe, but I can't track one down through the usual book channels. Any help would be much appreciated, chaps.
Cheers,
Alan

Brilliant, Colin, Many thanks. I've ordered it, so I can chalk up another success to all the helpful chaps on PF!
I met Eugene on a couple of occasions back in the early 80's at the Historex Competitions in Paris, and always found him to be a real 'Gentleman', in the proper sense of the word. And always so helpful with uniform information, despite our rough communicating in pidgin French on my part, and his lack of English:rolleyes:
Really looking forward to getting this book.
Cheers,
Alan

You can go on Eugene's website (managed by his grand daughter) and download a English version PDF file of the text to his book, at no cost! Great deal.... The book also can be bought though his website (www.eugeneleliepvre.com) as well, or through LCV Services in Paris (a French book dealer, publisher of Tradition magazine).

Thanks, Barry,(y) I had seen this site, but failed to negotiate around it[ I'm not very au fait with some of the techno stuff....witness I don't have an avatar!] As for PDF files.....I must say that I much prefer an actual proper book that one may peruse at leisure--turn pages, that sort of thing:rolleyes:;) I speak as an old bookbinder, who once worked on very old and interesting manuscripts, and who used traditional materials, so a bit of a Luddite. All this modern stuff has its place, I am the first to admit...just not on my bookshelves:LOL:

Cheers, Alan

Alan, If you want the book with the colour reproductions, you can simply contact Miss Leliepvre by email, she'll be glad to send you one for about 25 euros. It's a small book but a lovely one and Miss Leliepvre is always glad to hear from anyone with an interest in her late grandfathers work,
cheers

Thank you "Akaryu", maybe I'll give that a try. I'm waiting for a reply from a French bookseller at present, but if that doesn't succeed, it's nice to know there are alternatives:).
Cheers, Alan
