Gents,
I am seriously entertaining the idea of coming to Euro this year. I presume it is on 22-23 September as it was posted some time ago.
Can anyone tell me what are the closest reasonably priced hotels in the area. Clifton is already booked solid.
Thanks,
A.

Arthur, there are many hotels to choose from within walking distance of the Leas Cliff Hall, from very close - only a couple of minutes' walk - to about ten minutes away (depending on how fast you walk!)

Clifton is already booked solid.
Never mind; in addition to not being reasonably priced it's not worth the money anyway! :D

We went to Euro last year for the first time. We stayed at a hotel down the road (and down a looong hill...hard after a few pints of beer...). It cost about 100 pounds for 2 people for 2 nights. I would not reccomend eating there though as it was terrible! The rooms were ok, it was designed to look like an old boat with hallways and 'cabins' (the rooms).

I dont remember what it is called though, maybe someone knows.

You will have a great time, some amazing work and an awesome vendors area. The best part is to meet all the great people you 'meet' on the boards.

Its good for what your doing I guess...sleep! The rooms are mediocre, but do have a bed and a mini TV. It is nothing like we have come to expect from the North American style of hotels, thats for sure.

Either way, ship hotel or not go and enjoy your self, its agreat time!!

Oh yeah...another tip...get to the excibition hall early, or buy tickets in advance (if possible?) as there will be a huuuuge line!
