Hi Folks,

I've another project going (see my V-Bench posting) and Johan told me of an astronaut that was at Euro Militaire and thought I might be able to get some ideas for mine if I could see the one at the show. Does anyone have a photo of that figure?

If so, and you wouldn't mind letting me take a look at it, let meknow and I will give you my e-mail address.

Thanks guys
Steve

Here's a pic

Here are a few images you can use for reference. I have this figure (always been facinated by space exploration ever since I was young) and downloaded a ton of these pictures. If you do purchase this figure, let me know and I'll e mail you the rest of them. The first is Neil Armstrong's actual suit. The second is a good close up of the face visor. Should help out with the painting.

I've seen it on Euro. It is incredibale. Never seen such work on 54. Even all the shadows were painted on the base and in the visor. You see the pic. from Neil Armstrong, well, that's the way it is painted, with all the crispy details.

I wish you all the best when you painted it to this great standard.

Marc.

Great photos and figure! It appears that I will need to make some serious alterations to the Revell helmut.

Jim thank you for the additional photos. I thought I could find some photos on Sven Knudson's page, but it seems he has reduced his archives since he moved his page to our university server.

Thanks guys! For everything.

Steve
