is there any truth that this could be Euro Militaire's last year, some fellow modellers have heard this might be the case,I would like to hear other people's views here on the planet to see if they can throw any light on the subject,I would certainly be very sad if this was the case, please assure me this is only a rumour

Sure do hope that this is just a rumour as I will probably not be able to get down this year. Was planning to but at the moment it's out of my control. Enjoyed the whole Euro weekend last year and all the other times I've been.

Barrie.

Blimey Guys,

If this goes and I do so hope it does not we will have nothing to get the international modellers over .

Wonder where this came from ?........has anyone actually approached the organising teams ?

Although its a shame its obvious that the number of international attendants have declined quite heavily since the haydays around the turn of the century.
Other shows grows and much of the new releases as well as shopping can be done on internet easily.

I certainly can leave Folkestone behind but not the exhibit, vendors and people, theyre the reason for going. And Im going this year again.

Cheers

I've not heard anything recently, but these rumours have been knocking around for a while.

I hope not. I was there in 2012 and I loved the experience even having not won any award.:)What I liked most was the good chat I had with some fellow planet figure members... and the beer i drank with my friend Ken.
Cheers,
Pedro.

Time for the organisers to inform us of there is any truth in this rumour, although i'm not holding my breath.

Hi all

Just spoken to the organisers !!! The show is alive and well and this years is not the last !!!!!

They are planning lots and improving on what is already the worlds best event of the year.

Apparently there are the usual doom mongers doing what they do best !!!

5 months to go...cant wait

Stuart

Phew although I'll miss the next 2 it's good to know that it has a future........ but they really need to up their game and add value to the show.
To be honest if it wasn't for the meet up and fine company I think I'd rather go to SMC or Monte San Savino.

Great news ...bring it on ........

Well done Stu ...typical of some doom and gloom spreaders!.good to hear the organisers are looking at doing more with the show

5 months ..and counting ...should have sorted the house out by then after the move last weekend !!

Well,I feel very happy now, thanks very much Stu for making the enquiries.

While we're on the subject of Euro, and for those who travel over the Dartford Crossing.
Please note that the toll booths have been replaced with number plate recognition, so you'll need to phone to make the payment.
I'll post more details later, but I thought I'd let you know well in advance.
