Hi guys,

The title speaks for itself: i've been looking around to know when Euromilitaire 2006 will take place. Is it on 23rd and 24th of september 2006?

Thanks :)

Patrick

(Please excuse me if this question is redundant, i just couldn't find the needed info)

That's great news, thanks Roy!

(Actually we've already made a reservation, and suddenly, we weren't quite sure of the date anymore... doh!)

Thanks again,

Patrick

Is there a web-site with show information I can link to the "Events" Calendar so people can learn more about the show?

i remember the different categories to be quite precise and numerous
Indeed, Patrick.

You can have cod and chips, haddock and chips, plaice and chips, bass and chips, not to mention the odd fried chicken and chips plus sausage and ...BEANS. ;)

Q.

Hi Patrick

Here are a watered down set of the classes as of 2005, obviously I couldn’t give all of the added little extras that they have for each class, as these may have changed slightly by the time Euro comes around, but this may give you some Idea, and they should be available in Military Modelling:-

As for a website, you could try the Military Modelling website, but I know its not yet been updated with the new classes as of last year.....

Hope hese help

Dave

I have received an e-mail from Ken Jones (editor of Mil Mod) this morning (great commitment for a bank holiday Monday here in the U.K. I must add..!!).

A brief summary is:

We'll be printing info in the magazine as it becomes available beginning with a list of traders in issue 6 - competition lists will follow.

The Mil Mod website is 'under consideration' by Encanta.

I will endeavour to put any 'confirmed' contact information on my website (roy hunt miniatures) if it becomes available.

All the best...Roy.

Jeez, it's even more intricate than I thought! Bleh! I'll just storm inside the first Burger King i come across. Anyway, thanks for this life-saver info, Quang!

Dave, thanks a lot for the information! Fantastic figures are more and more present nowadays. Will they fall into "misc civilians"? Or will they be banned from the contest?

Hi Patrick

I’m not sure which catagory you can put Fantasy Figures into, but they do seem to appear in quite a few of them......????

Dave

Patrick, over the last couple of years there has been some talk about adding another class for fantasy figures at Euro instead of having them entered in the misc classes..I know that Ken Jones has been giving it some serious thought. As a lot of the competitors enjoy the challenge and departure of painting a fantasy piece, I think that it is only a matter of time before we see this class as a definate addition to Euro...lets hope it's this year...it would definately make for another very exciting class..!!

The competition classes will be in MilMod No.7 published on the 16th June..

All the best...Roy.
