Thanks Gary, no, it's definitely a reproduction that they put in the Colosseum park, but maybe taken from some findings. We're glad you like it and another gladiator will be out soon.No doubt it is gladiator armour in the photograph (the feathers, leather and clothing are certainly reproductions so is the armour original as well as it looks incredibly bright for 2000 years old metal ?) but it is not necessarily for a Thaex; a spear certainly isn't. I wasn't aware this was an earlier Il Fuedo release and so accept that when originally conceived and sculpted, the wealth of information now on the internet possibly wasn't available to the sculptor who like all of them, cannot be exact or knowledgeable on each and every subject they attempt. Irrespective, it's a very nice figure as I said and I hope it does well for you.
