I was checking the gnome traps this morning (as one should every day), when I found this little madam. Bloody furious she was too. Released her in the woods and ran like blazes.
(In acryllic from hassle free miniatures, 1:1 scale (about 40mm)).

Love the figure and the "groundwork". The wings though look just to be plastic, which is a pitty.

I've seen this done where the wings have been replaced with Dragonfly wings and feathers.
The Dragonfly wings were particularly effective, don't know how decay might impact. Possibly a careful airbrushing with gloss varnish might stabalise them.
 
Although I do remember seeing another 'Fairy', of similar scale. in which the modeller used actual 'Deceased', Dragon-Fly' wings! ..very effective.
