Hi James

Good on you for going for this camo ....something I avoid !! ....nice result

Not sure who makes the figure ...( it's got legs ...lol I only paint busts )but try Mitches Military Models or RDG ( Grod here on PF ) for a head

Good advice ref X21,as well

Nap
Thanks Nap
This was a bit tricky but got it done just need a few things sorted on it
Waiting on the dull coat and X21 I've got a couple of models needing to be less shiny
So I'll use one on each to see which I prefer.
Managed to get a couple of heads for this scale. Going to prep and paint them this week.
Got the heads from mookie.
Thanks
James

The figure is Moz Corrys Gpmg para he did for Gordon a few years ago.The wooden stock SlLR was still in evidence in Falklands.Im.on.a militaria site on Facebook and Vets confirmed this.James has hsd help with a head for his creation.Lil ol Mookies has helped him.Nice to see a newbie who.likes my era of interest.

Thanks for the heads, much appreciated.
Got them in the post the other day.
They look great not had time to paint them yet but I should get them done
This week hopefully. Going to paint them both and see which one looks best on the model
I like anything to do with military specially with S. A. S etc
I'll be ordering sbs bust once I've finished this
Thanks again
James

This figure is indeed by Moz, it seems to be around in a few different guises. Mine has the Bergen, and also an ammo belt across the shoulders, to go with the GPMG he's carrying.
I was told that the putties in the 80's were more of a greenish colour. I used Vallejo extra Matt varnish, it brushes on and really takes all shine off.
