Always been a bit of a ' hobby horse' of mine. The Alamo fell after a thirteen day siege, at dawn on the 6th. March 1836. It's such an iconic piece of military history, I don't think a detailed account here is necessary. Surely, we've all at some time seen the films, both good and bad, mostly only telling a short slice of the whole story. It has all certainly divided historians over the last 185 years.
I simply want to pay tribute to the courage of men of both sides who fought and died for their beliefs.
