I prepare 5 of them each time and try to capture as much emotion as can be.

my latest set of five is in the hands of some modelers, for converting some figures.

I must be careful ( how attractive it might be) they don't end up like little Bill Mauldins ...
Though I respect this illustrators' style a lot.

finding your own style is very admirable ofcourse.

I practice almost every day to get the feel.
the flaws are the ears and eyes. even at this scale I want to create an eye that can be painted.
it is hard, this focussing on little surfaces.

5 types of emotion, want to work out 1 figure with a particular head.

not sure about the context, could be German, English or American, WW I or II...

some suggestions would be nice..
